Well its like I have a plan, I take some action... and than I lose grip.  But now I feel maybe I can get somewhere.  Their are always various projects to work on.  Currently working with two clients and designing their web pages.  This takes a chunk of time.  But it is very fun at the same time.  The design process can take time.  Mix that up with kids and work... challenging yet rewarding.  

I decided to jump on the twitter bandwagon.  I'm on facebook too.  The difference is twitter is like my here I am world and facebook is where my friends and privacy are.  So I guess I am more connected than ever now.

creating more

Lately I have been feeling very inspired to draw and sketch. I have
worked on a couple of experimental pieces. I will be posting them in
the galley shortly.

Also I am continuously working on a photography project called "Tokyo
dark". The name of this series might change. This series of pics has
to do with images captured at night in and around tokyo. It is
representing the light in the darkness. I feel it has a rather
poetic feel to it. I have taken a little over 100 photos so far but
have found only a small handful which I actually like.

I have also been experimenting a lot in illustrator. I really love
the ability to make my own custom brushes. It makes me feel my work
is so much more different and unique when I use a personal brush. So
I have been doing some crazy sketches in illustrator.

Their is always more to come.

great honest feedback

I just want to take the time to thank you my friends and family for
your honest input on the site. Everyone had some great suggestions.
So I pretty much followed what everyone said.

the Gallery - can be a bit confusing at first, there is nothing their
except for an hourglass just floating at the top. I have fixed the
flash script so now if you check the gallery the hourglass blinks red
calling you. I really didn't want to put text below it that said
click here, that seemed so tacky. So I feel the blinking hourglass
will suffice. Check it. I will also be putting more work. Some of
you wanted to see more. I am currently working on a series of photos
called "Tokyo Dark" which is about... out of the darkness of tokyo
their is light... ooh stay tuned
the Contact page - clicking the "here" was not working. It is a
problem with the image and the link on top of one another. So just
put up "email me here" below. This link will call the email menu to
pop up, it should work good now.
the video page - when I get to it I will definitely make it nice. The
text here is just temporary,
the front page - moved the text down one line so it wouldn't get
confused with the quote.
the blahg - everyone seemed to be comfortable with this. Maybe I will
incorporate this look into the rest of my pages.

I am sure these changes will make the site more easy to navigate. I
really do appreciate those of you who took the time to email me. Your
input and honesty is much appreciated. If their is anything you would
like to see in the future on the site please contact me through the
contact page. I look forward to hearing from you.

up up and away...

ok so I feel as if I am finally off on a good start.  What do you think of the site so far? Two more sections to complete.  The contact page and the video page.  Whew...In the mean time, I hope you are enjoying the pictures in my gallery.  I will continue to add pictures to the gallery on a regular basis. So please check back ever so often.    I have lots of images to post, so I am slowly sifting through them to see what kind of work I want to post.

So I am now working on my demo reel.  As you can see I am a well rounded designer.  I enjoy any project big or small.

brain block

Well after a lot of thinking and careful consideration, I have decided yet again to alter the design of the site.  This time instead of doing it all in flash I decided it would be best to lay it out in CSS and than have the Flash page become optional.   This way the site is more accessible to more people.  I figure this would also make the site more browser friendly.  

I have had some serious brain block.  I have been thinking about this so much.  Now the CSS layout is done.  Now comes the part of putting this all together to bring it full circle.  I feel I will definitely reach my goal of summer 2008.  

I am about 40% done with the site.  I am now deciding how I want to go about in presenting my artwork.  Should I do the gallery in Flash or CSS... decisions decisions.

But hey things are looking great.   I feel very optimistic.
